Alternate Responsible Official (ARO) - issues the FORM DS-2019; updates and maintains J-1 student records in SEVIS.

Joanna C. H. Kang
Associate Director,  International Student Services

Provides comprehensive support and guidance to international students, specializing in immigration compliance, cultural adjustment, and addressing challenges and opportunities related to international status.

Andrew Odeh
Senior Programs Assistant,  International Student Services

Develops and implements workshops and social programs to fully support the integration and successful adjustment of international students to the Barnard community.  Meets with students regularly to provide guidance regarding F-1 and J-1 regulations, work eligibility, travel documentation processes, social security card application support, and more.
